CANUSA Hamilton is thrilled to introduce esports as an exciting new addition to the 2025 CANUSA Games, offering a fresh platform for athletes aged 13-21 to showcase their gaming skills and competitive spirit. In partnership with Mohawk College’s Esports Administration program, this initiative brings the competitive gaming to the historic CANUSA Games, set to take place in Hamilton from August 8th to 10th. This new esports division aims to foster teamwork, strategy, and digital skills, building on CANUSA’s legacy of connecting young athletes through sportsmanship and international friendship.
Mark your calendars for December 5th, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., as Hamilton and Flint athletes compete in a live Rocket League tournament at Mohawk College’s new esports facility on the Fennell Campus. Open to ages 13-21 and all skill levels, this event requires no gaming equipment—all matches will be played on PCs provided by Mohawk College.
