CANUSA Games 2024 in Flint, Michigan Genesee County August 9th – 11th

Important Information for the 2025 CANUSA Games – Hamilton, Ontario | August 8th to 10th

The 67th CANUSA Games will take place from August 8th to 10th, 2025, in Hamilton, Ontario. Please review the following key details for athletes, coaches, and parents.

Registration and Payment

• Coaches will provide a registration link once teams are finalized.
• All registrations must be submitted by July 19th, 2025 through Amilia.
• Pricing is TBD for all sports, with different rates for sports like golf and hockey. Details will be shared soon.

Rowan’s Law – Concussion Protocol

In compliance with Rowan’s Law, all athletes and parents must read and verify their knowledge of the concussion protocol. This concussion awareness program became a legal requirement in Ontario on January 1st, 2022, and must be completed prior to participation in the Games.

Billeting Information

Billeting is a vital part of the CANUSA Games, allowing Hamilton families to host Flint athletes for the weekend, making the event affordable for everyone.

• Billeting: A Flint athlete will stay with a Hamilton family from Friday, August 8th (Opening Ceremonies) until Sunday, August 10th (Closing Ceremonies). Every attempt will be made to match athletes from the same sport.
• Modified Billeting: In this option, a Flint family/parent stays in a Hamilton hotel where a Flint athlete can stay. The Modified Billeting Contract will be signed by Flint parents during the online registration process via the Flint website. This ensures proper communication and coordination between families for pick-up times.
