PASSPORTS REQUIRED FOR CANUSA GAMES AUGUST 7TH-9TH Storm June 12, 2026

A reminder to all CANUSA athletes and families to make sure your passport is valid and up to date well before the Games.

For CANUSA 68 in Flint, Michigan (August 7–9, 2026), a valid passport is required for all athletes, parents, guardians, and family members crossing the border.

To help ensure a seamless border crossing experience, CANUSA will only be accepting passports as travel documentation this year. Other forms of identification or border documents will not be accepted.

Why do we collect passport information?

Passport details are submitted to border authorities in advance of the Games and provide an additional safeguard should travel documentation ever be lost while attending CANUSA.

Please note that all passport information collected by CANUSA is securely handled and removed from our records following the completion of the Games.

Don’t wait until the summer to check your passport.

• Verify your passport expiry date today
• Ensure it remains valid throughout your travel period
• Allow plenty of time for renewals or new applications
• Passport processing and delivery can take up to 30 days or longer during peak periods

Being passport-ready now helps avoid last-minute stress and ensures athletes can focus on representing Team Hamilton in Flint this August.
