The 67th CANUSA Games will take place from August 8th to 10th, 2025, in Hamilton, Ontario, bringing together athletes from Hamilton and Flint for a weekend of competition and camaraderie. Tryout information will be released in early May and is open to athletes of all skill levels who are eager to participate.
Many tryouts also serve as practice sessions, providing a valuable opportunity for athletes to develop their skills at no additional cost. Following tryouts, coordinators will inform athletes about team selection. Those selected will need to complete registration, which requires a valid passport and health card.
The CANUSA Games are about more than just sports; they foster lifelong friendships and cultural exchange. As part of the CANUSA tradition, all Hamilton families are required to billet a Flint athlete for the weekend. Parents and athletes can choose modified billeting, allowing them to stay together in a hotel while still participating in the program. Although some athletes may initially be unsure about billeting, many form strong connections with their host families and spend their free time enjoying activities together. To ensure a safe and welcoming experience, all billet families undergo thorough background checks in advance.
