Flag Football at the 2025 CANUSA Games – Hamilton, Ontario | August 8th to 10th
The 2025 CANUSA Games will feature an exciting Flag Football competition from August 8th to 10th in Hamilton, Ontario. This event will bring together talented athletes from both Hamilton and Flint, Michigan, competing in a series of games.
The Flag Football competition will take place at one central venue in Hamilton. This year, athletes will compete in a series of games designed to foster friendly competition and sportsmanship. The event is not a tournament, but rather a set of games where teams from Hamilton and Flint will compete against each other.
While tryouts and practices are free, there is a registration fee for the 2025 CANUSA Games. This fee will be required once teams are finalized. If an athlete is unable to pay the registration cost, CANUSA offers scholarships and support to help cover the cost and ensure that every athlete has the opportunity to participate. Information on how to apply for support will be available soon.
As Hamilton is the host city for the 2025 CANUSA Games, all Hamilton families are required to billet a Flint athlete for the duration of the event. Billeting is a key part of the CANUSA experience, helping reduce costs and creating meaningful connections between families from both cities.
Vulnerable Sector Check:
Hamilton parents hosting Flint athletes are required to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check with the Hamilton Police Service. This step ensures the safety of all participants. For more details and instructions on obtaining the check, please visit the official CANUSA Housing & Screening Information.
