General Information – Golf at the CANUSA Games

The Golf competition will take place at a central golf course in Hamilton, providing athletes with a chance to showcase their skills in a beautiful and competitive environment. The event will consist of individual matches, not a full tournament, allowing players to compete in a fun and engaging way while representing their city.

Tryouts & Practices

Tryouts and Practices: Tryouts and practices for Golf at the 2025 CANUSA Games are free of charge. All athletes interested in participating are encouraged to attend tryout sessions to prepare for the Games.
Commitment Requirement: Athletes must attend 80% of practices leading up to the Games to ensure they are well-prepared. Consistent attendance is crucial for team selection.

Registration & Costs

While tryouts and practices are free, there will be a registration fee for the 2025 CANUSA Games once teams are finalized. If an athlete is unable to pay the registration fee, CANUSA offers scholarships and support to ensure all athletes can participate. Billeting Requirement for CANUSA Families

As Hamilton is the host city for the 2025 CANUSA Games, all Hamilton families are required to billet a Flint athlete for the duration of the event. Billeting is a vital part of the CANUSA experience, reducing costs and fostering friendships between athletes and host families.

Vulnerable Sector Check:
