Swimming at the 2025 CANUSA Games – Hamilton, Ontario | August 8th to 10th
The 2025 CANUSA Games will feature an exciting Swimming competition from August 8th to 10th in Hamilton, Ontario. Athletes from Hamilton and Flint, Michigan, will come together to showcase their swimming skills and compete in a series of races, promoting both sportsmanship and friendship.
The Swimming competition will take place at the Jimmy Thompson Memorial Pool in Hamilton, offering athletes the chance to compete in various race distances and styles. This event is not a full tournament but will feature multiple races as part of the 2025 CANUSA Games schedule.
While tryouts and practices are free, there will be a registration fee for the 2025 CANUSA Games once teams are finalized. If an athlete is unable to pay the registration fee, CANUSA offers scholarships and support to ensure that financial barriers do not prevent participation. Information on how to apply for financial assistance will be available soon.
As Hamilton is the host city for the 2025 CANUSA Games, all Hamilton families are required to billet a Flint athlete for the duration of the event. Billeting plays a crucial role in reducing costs and fostering meaningful connections between athletes from both cities.
Vulnerable Sector Check:
Hamilton parents hosting Flint athletes will need to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check with the Hamilton Police Service. For more details on how to obtain this check, please visit the official CANUSA Housing & Screening Information.
The 2025 CANUSA Games in Hamilton will provide Swimming athletes with a fantastic opportunity to compete, build friendships, and create lasting memories. We look forward to seeing you in the pool!
Stay tuned for more details on tryout registration and additional updates. Thank you for being part of the 2025 CANUSA Games!
